In 1985 Hennie and Sarie Kloppers decided that there was a need for a supplier of MB truck spares, as in those days there was a lot of MB trucks on the road. Hennie decided to open a shop in Park Street, Randfontein and Benz Truck Spares was born.
After trading only 1 year in 1986 he was selected to recieve the prestigious Business Man of the Year award presented to him by Mr Hendrik Shoeman wo appriciated Hennie and his personel, for what they were doing during those years, considering the sanctions.
Power Truck Parts was born to get even bigger and better. They moved premises in 1986 to Number 6 Bragg Street, Randfontein. This was due to increasing staff and customer needs.
